This domaine dates back to 1848 and is located in the village of Wolxheim. They are practising permaculture and Fukuoka farming which advocates a ‘do nothing’ approach in agriculture, so letting the vines effectively run wild so they achieve their own balance and harmony. This is definitely a Riesling like no other there is so much intensity and focus to the wine that it almost hurts
